The book is a comprehensive listing of the families and individuals who are interred at the various cemeteries within the Town of Laurel. An excellent resource for genealogists and historians, the book also includes an overview of the history of the various cemeteries.

The third book in the cemetery series, Cemeteries Around Laurel, Delaware, was launched by the Laurel Historical Society in 2011. The book documents 25 local cemeteries that include genealogies, stories, listings and photographs. Old Christ, Mt. Pleasant, Broad Creek, Epworth and Bethesda are church cemeteries that have been surveyed and documented by the Laurel Historical Society Cemetery Project. The book also lists family cemeteries of Adams, Chipman, Collins, Hitchens, Phillips, Records, Short, Warrington, Wingate, and many others.

The Laurel Historical Society has begun to record on video various presentations and speakers. These have been put onto DVD's and are being offered for sale to the public. All discs are roughly 40 minutes long.

LAUREL HARVEST FESTIVAL - Video footage of the town's 1941 festival taken just weeks before the outbreak of WWII. Numerous bands and businesses are featured. Three segments in B&W, one in color.
LIFE IN LAUREL - THEN & NOW - Another presentation by Kendal Jones of more of his postcard collection. This showing was before an audience at the OSHER Institute in Lewes, DE in September 2015.
